Shane Peters Dip. Law, ATIA – Director

Shane specialises in payroll tax, fuel tax credits and workers’ compensation premium liability. Before joining ITC Group, Shane had eight years experience as a Senior Indirect Tax Manager at two of the “Big 4” accounting firms, PWC and Deloitte.  He also had 12 years with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) in Sydney and Canberra.

John Walden B.Bus (Acc), FCPA – Director

John specialises in R&D incentives, fuel tax credits and payroll tax.  Prior to joining ITC Group, John was a Senior Indirect Tax Manager at two of the “Big 4” accounting firms, PWC and KPMG. He also had five years experience at the ATO.

Steve Callanan B.Ec, ATIA – Director

Steve specialises in GST, WET and non-resident withholding taxes.  He has over 35 years experience in indirect taxes in the IT, importing, mining, manufacturing and service industries. Before joining ITC Group, Steve had seven years experience with Coopers & Lybrand in Sydney as the Senior Indirect Tax Manager.

Steve Baxter B.Ec, ACA – Associate Director

Steve specialises in GST, fuel tax credits, land tax and luxury car tax.  He was an Associate Director at PWC, a “Big 4” accounting firm  before joining ITC Group.  He also assisted medium and large corporations and government agencies to implement GST in Australia.  Steve is a member of the CAA’s National Indirect Tax Committee  and a member of the Federal Assistant Treasurer’s Board of Taxation Advisory Panel.
